Our Story
At Treasure State Treats, we believe every dog deserves a treat that’s as wholesome as it is delicious.
Our story began in 2021, when founder Rachel, set out to make clean, homemade dog treats with simple, locally sourced ingredients.
In July 2025, I had the privilege of purchasing Treasure State Treats and carrying that mission forward from my home in Manhattan, Montana.
As a lifelong advocate for pet health, I’m passionate about giving pets the very best. That’s why every treat is still made by hand — we roll, cut, and stamp each bone before slow-baking and gently dehydrating it to preserve natural flavor and nutrients. We source honey, carrots, eggs, pumpkin (when in season), and whole wheat flour from neighboring Montana farms, and choose only the highest-quality organic peanut butter and applesauce from trusted grocers.
For me, Treasure State Treats is more than a business — it’s a way to connect with fellow pet parents who care about giving their dogs something truly special. I’m proud to continue a Montana-made tradition of crafting simple, honest treats that you can feel good about sharing… and that dogs can’t wait to devour.

Our Family
Kris’ love for animals fills every corner of her life. At home, she’s greeted by the joyful chaos of five beloved dogs — Elsa, Chili Pepper, Sam Elliot, Evie, and Nora. Four charming cats — Oliver, Rowdy, Snickers, and Toes — add their own personalities to the mix, while her four horses — Ty, Dolly, Fancy, and Chloe — bring a touch of grace and adventure to her days. Each one holds a special place in her heart and inspires her passion for creating the very best for animals.
